Or in other words: why I should have picked this courgette last week or not grown it next to railings in the first place.

    Ooops indeed! In a similar vein, I extracted a small tomato growing between the glazing and a vertical strut in my greenhouse. If only I could grow all my tomatoes with flat sides – much easier to stack in the fridge!
