Like clean sheets on a bed
My favourite thing about cleaning out the chicken coop: the flat layer of fresh wood shavings always gives me the same good juju feeling as when we put clean sheets on our bed.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Yes must admit hubby does love to keep the coop nice and clean for the ladies…unfortunately one of our more mature ladies passed away this week…poor maisie..

Cleaned the chicken house yesterday and thought I was the only one who referred to it as “putting on clean sheets”! What”s really funny was I rearranged “furniture” for them as well-moving their free-standing nest box to another wall. Everybody was a little confused when they came into roost last night!
